Tbilisi (in quotes)

*on visiting a local attraction in Tbilisi*
"So what's at this Mtatsminda park anyways?"
"A ferris wheel. And the grave of Stalin's mother."
"OH MY GOD YES!!!"

*on crossing the streets in Tbilisi*
"The Georgians like tourists, but they won't slow down."

*on having our own Georgian bank accounts*
Heather: "I see that interest rates with our account can be up to 15%. Are the banks here insured or is there something like the FDIC in Georgia?"
Banker lady: "....No. No, they are not insured."

*on religion in Georgia*
TLG Representative: "No one is going to ask you to convert. Well, they might."

*on driving (again) in Georgia*
Concerned volunteer: "Do they have like a required license test here in Georgia?"
TLG Representative: "Yes....but really, who cares?"

*on giving our corporate phone numbers to random cab drivers*
TLG Rep: "Don't."

*on religion in Georgia (again)*
"I think I saw a Jew."
